Amy Acker is the newest addition to the cast of DRIVE as Kathryn, the missing wife of Alex Tully (Nathan Fillion).
Just read the above casting news.
So very glad that both AA and NF have been added to the cast. Can't wait to watch the series.
best of luck, Tim. I LOVED your work on Angel and The Inside.
WOW!!!!!!!
First Nathan Fillion and now they have the amazing Amy Acker joining to and playing his wife!?!?!!!
Now I REALLY REALLY cannot wait to see this!!!
Thank you, Tim!!
J. August Richards next. It doesn't matter if there is a role, I just see him working well on this show. I base this off of nothing, but still.
Good to see all the 'verses getting represented - like I wasn't anxious enough for this to start...
Congrats !
Outstanding news!! They should make a fine couple, if they ever find each other.
Still holding out for Inside on DVD....VR
Tim, I can't wait to see Drive. Just to see what you've been up to. Best of Luck with this project!
If I my wife Amy Acker was at home, I would be right there with her. It would take something truly compelling to get me driving across the country...
So now I've gone from Tim show "gunna check it out", to Tim and Nathan show "definitely gunna check it out", to Tim, Nathan and Amy show "GET IT ON MY TELEVISION NOWWWWW DAMMIT"
Great news!
Since, Tim Minear dvds tend to get released about when his next series come out I was hoping to have heard something about The Inside by now.
I kind of fell in love with Amy Acker a little bit on 'Angel' and then with Nathan Fillion (in a completely masculine, hetro way!) on 'Firefly' so it's great to see these two talented actors working together on what i'm sure will be a super duper show.
Good luck with it boss, and don't make it so good that it gets canceled!!
Who doesn't love a little bit of Acker?
Amy is a wonderful actress. Throughout her entire performance as Illyria, there was never a trace of Fred to be seen. Very impressive.
IMO Illyria was one of the best TV characters written and above all else, one of the best performances ever. I await Ms. Acker's return with nothing less than baited breath! Yippiee for NF too. Man-crush too, but with an homosexual slant.
