Miracle Man sounds like the long-awaited sequel to A Face in the Crowd, Elmer Gantry and Wonder Falls, but Mal's personal aversion to "code" (as Early might describe "religion") is incorporated in to a premise that puts conscience first and obedience in (the) behind.
